3 Ideas for Apple Recipes
Apples are wonderful all year round, and can be found just about anywhere in many different varieties. Those with apple trees also know how many apples one small tree can produce.
If you've just purchased a large bag of apples or you are harvesting your own apples, here are a few ideas for recipes:
- Apple Pie
One of my favorite things to do with apples, and a highly requested pot luck item. Everyone has their own recipe for apple pie, and it's extremely easy to find.
- Apple Crisp
Another popular recipe, and appears easy to make. I personally have never made apple crisp, but I do know how wonderful it can be when homemade.
- Baked Apples
Wonderful for desserts or as a sweet addition to any meal. If you have never tried baked apples, you are missing out. Very tasty!
There are tons of other things you can do with an apple. Don't forget the best thing of all - apples as snacks! Used with peanut butter or caramel dip, it makes for a perfect after school snack.
